What’s Growin’ On?
“What’s Growin’ On?” is an exciting educational project that helps students discover the ways agriculture impacts their daily lives. This year’s is theme, “Celebrating California’s Top Ten” will teach students about California’s top ten commodities produced here. It includes important information about the ten commodities as well as fun activities to complete. This year’s paper also features STEM activities and careers related to each commodity. It is geared toward students in grades three through eight.
This 16-page supplement, sponsored by the California Foundation for Agriculture in the Classroom, is packed with articles and fun activities that satisfy 3rd – 8th grade educational standards for California public schools.
And, don’t forget to visit the State Capitol in mid-March to celebrate California Agriculture Day!
