2016 California Central Valley Spelling Bee Winner!

Snehaa Ganesh Kumar, an 8th grader from Folsom Middle School gets hung up on a word in an early round of the 33rd Annual California Central Valley Spelling Bee but went on to win it for the second year in a row, Wednesday, March 2, 2016 at the Scottish Rite Center.

Congratulations Snehaa!

We have a repeat winner! Congratulations to Snehaa Ganesh Kumar, eighth-grader from Folsom Middle School, who won the 2016 California Central Valley Spelling Bee competition. As a note, she also won last year! Snehaa will represent the Sacramento region at the Scripps National Spelling Bee in the Washington. DC area in May.
